Summary of 2011 Event
Splendor in the Valley was the eighth year of our major fund raising event - all having been at Cal Worthington's Big W Ranch, Orland. The festive evening began with a wine and cheese social hour followed with a tasty prime rib dinner. Bidding was fast and furious as guests eagerly sought after fancy cakes and pies as they were auctioned for the benefit. Nearly 300 guests enjoyed the evening under the stars.
During the evening, attendees enjoyed dancing to The Cottonwood Band, which kept the floor busy all night long.

Dancing Under the Stars was our theme and we were grateful to Cal Worthington for providing the wonderful setting for the event. It was a beautiful evening too.Cal Worthington, Tri Counties Bank, Valley Emergency Physicians, and The Classic Sports Racing group were major sponsors of the event. We wish to thank all of those who participated in whatever way they chose - sponsorship, in-kind donations, attending the event, participation and donation for the live and silent auction.
Upcoming 2012 Event
Get ready for the Ninth year of Splendor in the Valley. On Saturday September 8th starting at 5:30 PM, we welcome you back to Cal Worthington's Big W Ranch for an enjoyable evening of dining and dancing. Returning for an encore preformance will be The Cottonwood Band as well as both a live Dessert and a silent auction. We thank you and hope to see you there.
